Halfway through 2026, Seaport Real Estate Group is having its best year in 16 years \u2014 and broker and owner Ben Bluemle says it\u2019s not the market. It\u2019s what\u2019s happening behind the scenes.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Walk into any social setting in Savannah right now and Ben Bluemle will tell you the conversation has shifted. Sales are strong. Records are breaking. Seaport Real Estate Group is on pace for the most successful year in its sixteen-year history. But that isn\u2019t what people want to talk about.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s really one subject, and it\u2019s all AI,\u201d Bluemle says.<\/p>\n
For most of his career, Bluemle built Seaport on a simple philosophy \u2014 be a marketing company first and a real estate company second. That instinct, the willingness to move before the rest of the industry catches up, is now pointing him squarely at artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n
Over the last fifteen months, Seaport has rebuilt significant portions of its back-end operations around AI. New systems. New workflows. New tools the firm\u2019s nearly fifty agents now bring into every buyer and listing appointment.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re incorporating more AI into our space than we ever have,\u201d Bluemle says. \u201cI didn\u2019t fully understand it at first. I didn\u2019t know how it was going to work for us. But right now we are spending every waking second incorporating new types of technology to make sure our agents are better prepared and more successful.\u201d<\/p>\n
The result, he believes, is the through-line behind Seaport\u2019s 2026 numbers. Agents walking into appointments with more data, more knowledge, more preparation than the competition. Listings backed by smarter targeting. Buyers served with sharper intelligence about the homes and neighborhoods they\u2019re considering.<\/p>\n
And he doesn\u2019t soften the message for business owners watching from the sidelines.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf you\u2019re not losing sleep right now because you\u2019re not incorporating the level of AI that we\u2019re doing, you should start,\u201d he says. \u201cAI is evolving so fast. If you want to be here in the next five, ten, twenty years, you\u2019ve got to find ways to incorporate it.\u201d<\/p>\n
For Seaport, the work is already underway \u2014 and Bluemle hints there\u2019s more coming that the firm isn\u2019t ready to reveal yet.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are so far ahead of our competitors right now on all the things we\u2019re incorporating,\u201d he says. \u201cAI is here. It\u2019s not going anywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n
