The vendor has not yet set a number of shares to offer or price.<\/p>\n<p>            <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"\" src=\".\/media_100cc9301c21a30bd039f921720c4bce056467105.png?width=750&amp;format=png&amp;optimize=medium\" width=\"690\" height=\"458\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Days after Anthropic disclosed a new round of funding that put its valuation above that of artificial intelligence rival OpenAI, the Claude maker has now revealed that it is another step closer to going public as it works to build out its channel partner program.<\/p>\n<p>The San Francisco-based AI startup\u2014founded by former OpenAI employees\u2014confidentially submitted filings to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering of common stock, Anthropic said in an online post Monday. The vendor has not yet set a number of shares to offer or price.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis gives us the option to go public after the SEC completes its review,\u201d Anthropic said in the post. \u201cThe proposed initial public offering will depend on market conditions and other factors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, Anthropic revealed a $100 million investment in its Claude Partner Network and new certification program as part of its channel offensive.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat we want to build here isn\u2019t the same\u2014nothing we do is the same. Everything we are building now is the blueprint for the future. So we need a different set of muscles and a much more multifaceted set of personnel to deliver that,\u201d Steve Corfield, Anthropic\u2019s head of business development and partnerships, told CRN at the time.<\/p>\n<p>[RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crn.com\/news\/ai\/2026\/anthropic-raises-65b-as-it-scale-partnerships\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Anthropic Raises $65B As It Scales Partnerships<\/a>]<\/p>\n<p>        Anthropic Files Confidential IPO As AI Race Intensifies<\/p>\n<p>CRN has reached out to Anthropic for comment.<\/p>\n<p>Eduardo Ramos, CEO of Austin, Texas-based Anthropic solution provider Viewnear, told CRN in an interview that Anthropic going public is a signal that enterprise AI is moving from experimentation to core business infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>Ramos has sought to carve out a niche in the developing Anthropic partner ecosystem through Claude expertise married with expertise in data product vendor Snowflake\u2019s portfolio.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOrganizations are investing in platforms they believe can support long-term, production-scale AI initiatives,\u201d the CEO said. \u201cWe\u2019re seeing that demand firsthand across our customers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Other Claude partners include CRN Solution Provider 500 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crn.com\/sp-500\/sp2025\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">members<\/a> Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant, Slalom and Leidos, as well as \u201cborn in the AI\u201d services partner upstarts like Tribe AI and Ciridae.<\/p>\n<p>Anthropic isn\u2019t the only member of the upcoming mega IPOs eyeing the channel for expanding enterprise business.<\/p>\n<p>OpenAI has also been expanding its partner ecosystem and hiring top talent in the IT channel, with Brian Landsman, Salesforce\u2019s AgentExchange CEO and executive vice president of global business development and partnerships, announcing in a LinkedIn post Monday that he is joining the ChatGPT maker as vice president of global partnerships.<\/p>\n<p>He <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crn.com\/news\/ai\/2026\/channel-superstar-colleen-kapase-joins-openai-to-lead-epic-go-to-market-model-with-partners\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">joins<\/a> former Google Cloud and Snowflake channel executive Colleen Kapase at the upstart to build up a partner ecosystem that includes channel luminaries like Accenture, Capgemini, CGI, Cognizant, Infosys, PwC and Tata Consultancy Services.<\/p>\n<p>Space Exploration Technologies Corp.\u2014better known as Elon Musk\u2019s SpaceX\u2014disclosed in its IPO filings in May that it is \u201cexpanding through channel partners in select geographies\u201d to help drive increased adoption of its Starlink enterprise connectivity market.<\/p>\n<p>In March, SpaceX hired Jackie Smith as head of strategic partnerships. She previously worked at Cisco and Spunk for about 15 years, leaving as global vice president of Splunk partner sales, according to her LinkedIn account.
