{"id":59569,"date":"2026-06-02T18:31:09","date_gmt":"2026-06-02T18:31:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ai\/59569\/"},"modified":"2026-06-02T18:31:09","modified_gmt":"2026-06-02T18:31:09","slug":"microsofts-surface-rtx-dev-box-is-a-mini-pc-made-for-ai-developers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ai\/59569\/","title":{"rendered":"Microsoft&#8217;s Surface RTX Dev Box is a mini PC made for AI developers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A lot of PC makers are planning to launch laptop and desktop computers powered by NVIDIA\u2019s RTX Spark processor later this year, including Microsoft, which introduced the upcoming Surface Laptop Ultra alongside NVIDIA\u2019s announcement of its new chip for Windows PCs.<\/p>\n<p>But Microsoft also plans to launch an RTX Spark-powered mini PC aimed at AI developers. It\u2019s called the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/surface\/devices\/surface-rtx-spark-dev-box\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Surface RTX Spark Dev Box<\/a>, and in addition to featuring NVIDIA\u2019s powerful processor with up to a petaflop of local AI processing performance, it also has a pretty interesting design.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-200674\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/surface-rtx-spark-dev-box_01-780x263.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"780\" height=\"263\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>The mini PC has \u201can anodized aluminum 3D printed body with 1,000 air vents built into its grid chassis,\u201d and an unusual design that basically consists of a flat rectangle resting atop a narrower base.
