We operate OpenClaw in a cloud environment that\u2019s in a sandbox, and we treat OpenClaw as untrusted so it doesn\u2019t have secrets or access to any of your Microsoft 365 data.\u201d<\/p>\n
Microsoft also uses its suite of security capabilities to control OpenClaw, including Agent 365, Purview, and Defender. Then there\u2019s the usual red teaming, privacy reviews, and security reviews to ensure it\u2019s safe for enterprise environments. \u201cI feel good that we\u2019re doing things that Microsoft has a history of doing to run the service and protect it,\u201d says Shahine. \u201cOpenClaw is very powerful \u2026 so we\u2019re also curating a set of features that we\u2019re going to offer customers out of the box.\u201d<\/p>\n
With Google pushing to make Gemini Spark<\/a>, its own take on OpenClaw, available to connect to Workspace apps like Gmail and Docs, it feels like there\u2019s a new AI race emerging to own the personal assistant of the enterprise.
