Anthropic\u2019s Mythos AI model, which has advanced cybersecurity capabilities, sent shockwaves through the industry and Capitol Hill.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Anthropic said it was deliberately delaying the release of Mythos to give stakeholders time to adjust and adapt to its capabilities. Policymakers are also worried about the labs approaching \u201crecursive self-improvement,\u201d where models are capable of improving themselves.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Laws requiring companies like Anthropic to provide more time could make an impact.
