{"id":65227,"date":"2026-06-07T13:40:13","date_gmt":"2026-06-07T13:40:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ai\/65227\/"},"modified":"2026-06-07T13:40:13","modified_gmt":"2026-06-07T13:40:13","slug":"china-powers-green-computing-hub-smart-factories-amid-ai-push","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ai\/65227\/","title":{"rendered":"China powers green computing hub, smart factories amid AI push"},"content":{"rendered":"<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">China is stepping up its push for smarter and more efficient industrial infrastructure, as the country launches the world\u2019s first prefabricated energy hub for computing facilities and establishes a nationwide four-tier smart factory system.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">Unveiled on Saturday in Qingdao, eastern Shandong province, the prefabricated base acts as the \u201cheart\u201d of the computing centres by providing green power to run the massive facilities, according to a report by state broadcaster China Central Television on the same day.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">It was being connected to data centres built by enterprises and set to be adopted by national-level computing facilities in the second half of 2026.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">Compared with the previous energy facilities for data centres, the new energy hub, established by Qingdao-based electricity equipment company TGOOD, allows for direct connection to green electricity and boasts \u201c100 per cent green electricity consumption\u201d, according to CCTV.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">The new hub was designed to lower the required land footprint by more than 30 per cent and cut overall costs by 20 per cent.
