Agilent Technologies Inc<\/a> announced a collaboration with OpenAI and Boston Consulting Group to accelerate the deployment of artificial intelligence (AI)<\/a> across the company\u2019s products, operations, and customer workflows.<\/p>\n

The partnership is intended to build the capability and operating model required to deliver AI-driven innovation. Through the collaboration, Agilent plans to advance more intelligent instruments, software, and services\u2014building on its existing digital pathology workflows<\/a>\u2014to provide faster insights for customer decision-making.<\/p>\n

\u201cAI is a top priority, and this partnership reflects both our ambition and our execution commitment \u2014 to build the enduring capability, operating model, and capacity required to consistently deliver AI\u2011driven innovation value for our customers,\u201d says Padraig McDonnell, CEO of Agilent, in a release. \u201cThrough this collaboration with OpenAI and [Boston Consulting Group], we are accelerating deployment of AI across our business while advancing more intelligent instruments, software, and services. Our focus is simple: deliver faster, highest-quality insights to help our customers make better decisions.\u201d<\/p>\n

The initiative combines Agilent\u2019s scientific expertise with OpenAI\u2019s research and deployment capabilities and BCG\u2019s experience in large-scale change. According to the company, the collaboration will help identify, build, and scale high-impact applied AI solutions<\/a> across the enterprise.<\/p>\n

\u201cBy bringing advanced AI capabilities into Agilent\u2019s innovation and operations, we\u2019re enabling teams to unlock new insights, accelerate discovery, and build more intelligent, adaptive solutions,\u201d says Ashley Kramer, vice president of enterprise at OpenAI, in a release.<\/p>\n

Agilent has prioritized initial use cases designed to enhance the customer experience and accelerate its new product pipeline<\/a>. The company plans to expand these efforts over the next six to 12 months.<\/p>\n

\u201cTogether, we will help Agilent turn AI into a competitive advantage\u2014moving from pilots to scaled deployment and redefining how value is created across the enterprise,\u201d says Matthew Kropp, a managing director and senior partner at Boston Consulting Group and chief AI officer at Boston Consulting Group X, in a release.<\/p>\n
