(KNSI) \u2014 St. Cloud State University is hosting an AI Town Hall on Thursday, April 9th, that the school says will bring together educators, students, staff and regional partners to discuss the evolving role of artificial intelligence in education and society.<\/p>\n
The event will begin in the Atwood Memorial Center Theatre at 11:30 a.m. and continue over lunch in Atwood\u2019s Cascade Room until 1:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
According to a press release from SCSU, an open conversation will combine campus and community voices to explore how AI is already shaping practice, where uncertainties and trade-offs exist, and what shared responsibilities institutions and communities hold moving forward.<\/p>\n
The event will be emceed by Dave Blanchard, SCSU Director of Online and Distance Learning. \u201cAs the pace of change continues to challenge traditional assumptions, this event reflects a commitment to thoughtful, human-centered engagement with AI, grounded in learning, equity and collective responsibility,\u201d Blanchard said.<\/p>\n
