(\u201cAGI\u201d)<\/a>\u00a0on June 9 announced a\u00a0multi-million dollar\u00a0investment in its Clay Center, Kansas, facility to add U.S. production of 4-inch corrugated farm grain bins and strengthen its North American manufacturing network.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"922\" height=\"613\" data-id=\"180276\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Clay-Center-Plant.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-180276\"  \/><br \/>Clay Center AGI plant office. (Photo by Michelle Tessaro.)<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project is part of AGI\u2019s long-term strategy to align production with customer demand across key grain-growing regions\u2014enhancing responsiveness, increasing production speed, and delivering high-quality storage solutions closer to the farm.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AGI\u2019s Clay Center facility currently produces a wide range of grain handling equipment, including augers, bin unloads, bucket elevators, towers, catwalks, portable and stationary\u00a0chains\u00a0and paddles, as well as incline drag and En Masse conveyors.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"677\" height=\"922\" data-id=\"180279\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Mike-Baker.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-180279\"  \/><br \/>Mike Baker is AGI plant manager in Clay Center, Kansas. (Courtesy photo.)<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis project reflects AGI\u2019s commitment to strengthening and balancing our North American manufacturing footprint around where our customers operate,\u201d said Paul Brisebois, president and CEO of Naperville, Illinois-based AGI. \u201cAdding bin capacity in the heart of the U.S. grain belt aligns production closer to the customer\u2014improving responsiveness, strengthening supply chain resilience, and enhancing how we serve farmers and dealers.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Clay Center expansion brings farm storage production back to the United States\u2014strengthening AGI\u2019s ability to serve customers with greater speed,\u00a0efficiency\u00a0and consistency. Together with AGI\u2019s St. Boniface, Manitoba facility, it will increase overall bin capacity and create a more flexible, integrated North American manufacturing network.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beyond its operational impact, the bin expansion reinforces AGI\u2019s long-term commitment to economic development in Clay Center, Clay\u00a0County\u00a0and the state of Kansas.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mike Baker, plant manager at AGI Clay Center, said the expansion will support regional workforce growth as new capabilities come online.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis is an exciting step forward for our team and our community,\u201d Baker said. \u201cWe expect to begin bin production in mid-2027, creating new jobs and building on the strong foundation here at Clay Center to support continued growth.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"919\" height=\"597\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/AGIs-Grain-Bins.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-180280\"  \/><br \/>AGI\u2019s 4-inch corrugated grain bins. Established in 1958 as Hutchinson Manufacturing, Inc., the site became part of AGI in 2017.
