Starting today, users can press the microphone button on their remote or use the \u201cHey Google\u201d wake word to issue direct commands to Gemini.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"2\">With that in mind, users can now adjust standard settings by asking Gemini to change picture modes or modify individual elements like brightness, contrast, and bass for example. For audio or video issues, users can describe the problem\u2014such as stating that \u201cthe screen is too dark\u201d or \u201cdialogue is muffled\u201d\u2014and Gemini will automatically tweak the settings to resolve the issue.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"2\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-361881\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/gemini-tcl-tv-scaled.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1441\"  \/><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"2\">The AI can also optimize the display for specific content, like configuring a \u201ccinematic experience\u201d for movies, and can even double as a shortcut to open specific system menus instantly.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"3\">As for availability, Google says that the update is rolling out over the next few weeks, although it is currently limited for users in the United States.
