{"id":76542,"date":"2026-06-17T06:02:58","date_gmt":"2026-06-17T06:02:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ai\/76542\/"},"modified":"2026-06-17T06:02:58","modified_gmt":"2026-06-17T06:02:58","slug":"banijay-kids-strikes-toon-boom-artificial-intelligence-deal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ai\/76542\/","title":{"rendered":"Banijay Kids Strikes Toon Boom Artificial Intelligence Deal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tEXCLUSIVE: <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/banijay\/\" id=\"auto-tag_banijay\" data-tag=\"banijay\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Banijay<\/a> has struck a deal with <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/toon-boom\/\" id=\"auto-tag_toon-boom\" data-tag=\"toon-boom\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Toon Boom<\/a> Animation that will see it hand over kids content  to test the software firm\u2019s AI tools in exchange for gaining early access to the tools.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe deal for the Banijay Kids &amp; Family division, which makes and sells the likes of Mr Bean and Totally Spies!, comes with the Annecy International Animation Film Festival on the horizon, where <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/artificial-intelligence\/\" id=\"auto-tag_artificial-intelligence\" data-tag=\"artificial-intelligence\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">artificial intelligence<\/a> will no doubt dominate conversation once again.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tBanijay will give content to Canada\u2019s Toon Boom to test its tools in \u201creal studio conditions.\u201d In response, Toon Boom will hand Banijay early access to a pipeline of upcoming features powered by Ember AI. The firm will also give Banijay visibility of its \u201c2-to-3-year product roadmap\u201d for tools including Harmony, Storyboard Pro and Producer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tToon Boom said \u201cthe ultimate goal of this transparency is to tackle the actual bottlenecks modern animation studios face today \u2013 specifically helping creators accelerate delivery times without losing their unique creative voice.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tBoth parties stressed the \u201cstrict ethical and operational guardrails\u201d attached to the deal. While Banijay is handing over content to help test tools, it said this will in no way be used to train AI models.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tBanijay Kids CEO Beno\u00eet Di Sabatino said: \u201cRather than waiting for off-the-shelf AI tools, we want to be at the forefront of evolving our own solutions. The ambition is to enhance rather than disrupt the creative and address the growing demand for faster and more efficient pipelines. Choosing Toon Boom as our partner was key, as its software solutions have long been developed with deep respect for the artists, technicians, and creative workflows that define our sector.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tToon Boom boss Colin Bohm added: \u201cAt Toon Boom, we\u2019ve always built our tools in close dialogue with the artists and studios who use them. This partnership with Banijay Kids &amp; Family deepens that commitment.
