As AI becomes a bigger part of business operations across India, companies are investing faster in training programmes to help employees work with AI and related technologies. A report by edForce shows that organisations are focusing not only on adopting AI tools but also on preparing their workforce to use them with efficiency.<\/p>\n
According to edForce’s Enterprise Learning Report FY2025-26, Agentic AI just emerged as the fastest-growing category in terms of learning during the year. The number has almost doubled of those who are enrolled in Agentic AI programmes, reaching 57,536.<\/p>\n
The rise now indicates that firms are shifting far from AI experimentation and pilot projects, with training increasingly focused on deploying and managing AI systems at scale.<\/p>\n
The report also highlights a growing demand for skills that support AI implementation. Cloud Computing training recorded a 29 per cent increase, reaching 41,876 learners, while DevOps training grew by 26 per cent to 31,211 learners.<\/p>\n
These technologies play a key role in building and maintaining AI-powered systems across organisations.<\/p>\n
Cybersecurity training also witnessed significant growth. The number of learners rose by 39 per cent to 25,448, reflecting the increasing importance of security as companies expand their digital and AI-driven operations. As more business processes move online, organisations are investing in measures to protect data, systems, and infrastructure.<\/p>\n
Certification-based learning continued to gain momentum during the year. The report found that certifications earned by learners increased by 36 per cent to 38,562.<\/p>\n
Commenting on the findings, Ravi Kaklasaria, Co-Founder & CEO of edForce, says, “Enterprise learning is becoming increasingly outcome-driven. The strong growth in Agentic AI, Certifications, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, and Leadership training shows that organisations are focusing on building capabilities that directly support AI adoption and business transformation.”<\/p>\n
This indicates a growing focus on validating skills through recognised credentials and ensuring that employees possess industry-relevant expertise.<\/p>\n
Leadership training emerged as the second-fastest growing category. The number of learners participating in leadership programmes increased by 46 per cent to 11,965.<\/p>\n
The trend shows that organisations are preparing business leaders alongside technical teams to guide technology adoption and manage change across departments.<\/p>\n
The findings suggest that companies now view AI adoption as a wider business transformation rather than a standalone technology initiative.<\/p>\n
Along with AI skills, organisations are investing in cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, deployment capabilities, leadership development, and certification-led learning to build long-term capabilities and support future growth.<\/p>\n
