{"id":85048,"date":"2026-06-24T22:25:16","date_gmt":"2026-06-24T22:25:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ai\/85048\/"},"modified":"2026-06-24T22:25:16","modified_gmt":"2026-06-24T22:25:16","slug":"ibm-expands-project-lightwell-as-ai-changes-software-security","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ai\/85048\/","title":{"rendered":"IBM expands Project Lightwell as AI changes software security"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The announcement comes shortly after IBM <a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.ibm.com\/2026-06-22-ibm-and-openai-bring-frontier-ai-to-cyber-defense-helping-enterprises-keep-pace-with-machine-speed-threats\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">joined<\/a> OpenAI\u2019s Daybreak <a href=\"https:\/\/openai.com\/daybreak\/partners\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Cyber Partner Program<\/a> and launched a new application security service that uses advanced AI models to identify and validate software vulnerabilities.<\/p>\n<p>As part of that effort, IBM launched a service that uses OpenAI models to analyze software code, identify vulnerabilities and determine whether attackers could exploit them.
