Google.org announced new funding to support three long-term partners focused on education and artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n
The funding was announced at the 2026 ISTE conference and is intended to help educators and school leaders navigate AI while keeping the teacher-student relationship central to learning.<\/p>\n
The three partners receiving support are aiEDU, ISTE, and Renaissance Philanthropy.<\/p>\n
Through the new support, aiEDU will work with leaders of high-need K-12 districts to co-develop comprehensive AI readiness strategies. The organization will also build open-source blueprints that other school districts can follow.<\/p>\n
Google said aiEDU\u2019s expanded effort builds on a model that has already reached more than 48,000 educators and impacted nearly two million students nationwide.<\/p>\n
ISTE will receive funding for a field study, summit, and insights report focused on AI-informed assessments. The work is designed to help save educator time and support personalized student growth.<\/p>\n
Google.org is also supporting Renaissance Philanthropy\u2019s Reimagining Assessment initiative, which includes an open call planned for September and a request for information currently open for input.<\/p>\n
Google.org said the initiative reflects its commitment to helping teachers build AI literacy and access insights as the technology becomes more central to education.<\/p>\n
