The stakes are especially high for \u200cMeta after it \u2060hired Scale AI CEO Alex Wang last year under a $14.3 billion deal and offered \u2060some engineers pay packages of hundreds of millions of dollars to staff a new superintelligence team.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">Muse Spark is \u200bthe first \u200bin a new series \u200bof models from that \u200cteam, which is pursuing machines that can outthink humans.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">It will initially be available only on the lightly-used Meta AI app and website, and in the coming weeks, replace the existing Llama models powering chatbots \u200con WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and Meta&#8217;s \u200bcollection of smart glasses.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">&#8220;This initial \u200bmodel is small \u200band fast by design, yet capable \u200cenough to reason through complex \u200bquestions in science, \u200bmath, and health.
