OpenClaw is giving users a new way to interact with their agents on the go. The OpenClaw Foundation just launched official mobile apps on Android<\/a> and iOS<\/a>, both of which can be used to chat with your AI agents, check in on workflows and more. This is in addition to previous methods OpenClaw supported interacting with agents from messaging apps like Telegram and WhatsApp.<\/p>\n

If you’re unfamiliar with OpenClaw, it’s an agentic AI platform that went viral late last year for allowing users to run agents on their own local hardware, rather than in the cloud. In January, it garnered a lot of attention after users created Moltbook<\/a>, which acted as a sort of Reddit-like social media network where OpenClaw bots could interact with each other. In February, the creator of OpenClaw, Peter Steinberger, joined OpenAI, though the OpenClaw Foundation continues to run as an open-source project.<\/p>\n

In addition to OpenClaw’s new apps, Cursor, an AI coding agent platform, also announced the launch of an iOS mobile app<\/a> this week. You’ll be able to use the app to launch and track agents on the go, manage handoffs between your local agents and the cloud, and much more. OpenAI and Anthropic also support interacting with coding agents from mobile apps.
