{"id":91196,"date":"2026-06-30T21:03:32","date_gmt":"2026-06-30T21:03:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ai\/91196\/"},"modified":"2026-06-30T21:03:32","modified_gmt":"2026-06-30T21:03:32","slug":"instagram","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ai\/91196\/","title":{"rendered":"Instagram"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ChatGPT maker OpenAI just teased its first-ever hardware product, and it is not the mysterious AI companion device everyone was expecting. <\/p>\n<p>In a video posted to X, OpenAI showed a square-shaped device with several buttons, and said, &#8220;Your favorite Codex shortcuts are getting an upgrade.&#8221; The device, called Codex Micro, is set to launch on July 15, 2026. <\/p>\n<p>Codex Micro is a compact input device created specifically for Codex, OpenAI&#8217;s AI coding assistant that helps developers write, debug and navigate code using natural language prompts. <\/p>\n<p>Also, the device has been developed in collaboration with Work Louder, a company known for mechanical keyboards and macro pads with mappable keys, dials and switches. <\/p>\n<p>The silhouette shown in the teaser closely resembles Work Louder&#8217;s existing Creator Micro 2, a macro pad with 13 mechanical switches, a joystick and a touch sensor for assigning custom shortcuts. <\/p>\n<p>Importantly, Codex Micro is unrelated to OpenAI&#8217;s much larger hardware initiative with former Apple design chief Jony Ive, which is expected to be unveiled separately.
