Nissha Metallizing Solutions is also testing the agentic factory system ahead of a general release later this year.<\/p>\n
Its global operations manager Edoardo Palmo said \u201cprescriptive analytics and AI\u201d are \u201cstrategic\u201d imperatives and the Accenture-led development would \u201cimprove root cause exploration\u201d to \u201csignificantly reduce scrap and unplanned downtime\u201d.<\/p>\n
Accenture revealed the agentic AI factory move at the Hannover Messe event in Germany, stating it is working to push beyond \u201ctraditional manufacturing analytics, dashboards and oversight tools\u201d.<\/p>\n
The goal is to provide AI agents capable of evaluating \u201coperational context, historical machine behaviour and production data\u201d to provide insight into possible causes of downtime and suggest remedies.<\/p>\n
Other capabilities include preparing maintenance tickets and ordering spare parts.<\/p>\n
Avanade was founded by Accenture and Microsoft to deliver specialist services using the US software giant\u2019s products.<\/p>\n
The company\u2019s global supply chain and engineering lead Michael Schleuss said the agentic factory system \u201ccombines Microsoft technology expertise with hands-on industry and manufacturing know-how\u201d.<\/p>\n
Accenture explained manufacturers desire ways to reinvent shop floor operations using AI.<\/p>\n
