Dessen neue Architektur wurde besonders f\u00fcr die Nutzung von Agentic AI ausgelegt.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Im Rahmen einer Qualcomm-Pressereise nach Barcelona nahmen wir an der MWC-Pressekonferenz des Unternehmens teil und wurden dort \u00fcber das neue 5G-Modem informiert. Im Vergleich zur Vorg\u00e4ngergeneration <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hardwareluxx.de\/index.php\/news\/hardware\/netzwerk\/65652-qualcomm-x85-5g-modem-rf-5g-advanced-modem-wird-durch-ki-beschleunigt.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">X85 5G\u00a0<\/a>soll das X105 5G-Modem 30 % weniger Energie verbrauchen und um 16 % kleiner sein. Durch die Nutzung von globalen Navigationssatellitensystemen mit vier Frequenzb\u00e4ndern soll die Standortgenauigkeit gesteigert und der Stromverbrauch dabei reduziert\u00a0werden.<\/p>\n<p>\u00dcblicherweise dauert es einige Monate, bis neue 5G-Modems dann auch in neuen Smartphones landen und damit\u00a0f\u00fcr Endkunden verf\u00fcgbar werden. Das Vorg\u00e4ngermodell wurde zum MWC 2025 vorgestellt. Qualcomm nutzt es beim Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
