So far, 424 jobs have already been eliminated or agreements to cut them have been reached. \u201cThe locations in Linz and Vienna are not affected,\u201d the company told the \u201cKrone.\u201d The job cuts affect exclusively the renewable energy sector\u2014and within that sector, primarily the site in Memmingen, Germany. A social plan is in place for the affected employees. Through the cost-cutting program, the company aims to save 30 million euros annually. The full impact is expected to be evident starting in fiscal year 2027.
