Karen Barclay erf\u00fcllt ihrem Sohn seinen gr\u00f6\u00dften Wunsch und schenkt ihm die sprechende Puppe Chucky. Doch sie ahnt nicht, dass sie damit einen schrecklichen Albtraum entfesselt. Kurz darauf wird Andys Babysitterin tot aufgefunden, und weitere r\u00e4tselhafte Morde folgen. Schnell ger\u00e4t Andy selbst unter Verdacht. Niemand glaubt ihm, dass Chucky der wahre T\u00e4ter ist \u2013 bis es zu sp\u00e4t ist. Denn Chucky, besessen von der Seele eines Massenm\u00f6rders, ist selbst ohne Batterien lebendig und erweist sich als das unzerst\u00f6rbare B\u00f6se.<\/p>\n
