Speaking to MelbourneVictory.com.au, Senior Academy Head Coach, Besart Berisha, expressed his pleasure with claiming all three points during their visit to STRUC Steel Stadium.

“It was a very important win for our boys against Port Melbourne. The first half was not the level we expect from ourselves. We did not do our job well enough in many areas, and we failed to take our chances. But in the second, we came out with a completely different energy, better control, and much stronger mentality.

“We played our football, controlled the game well and created the moments we needed. Credit to Port Melbourne, they defended very well and made it difficult for us. But in the end, I believe our win was fully deserved.”
