Vahid Reza Adib, the partner of former Queensland premier Annastacia Palaszczuk, has arrived at a police station to be interviewed amid an ongoing investigation.
Police yesterday raided a luxury Gold Coast apartment owned by Dr Adib, with detectives and specialist officers searching his unit on Goodwin Terrace at Burleigh Heads.
Police said in a statement that a crime scene has been declared and investigations are ongoing. They would not confirm the nature of the investigation.
Dr Adib arrived at Southport police station after midday on Friday.
The ABC understands that he will be interviewed and that he was requested to take himself to the police station.

Ms Palaszczuk has this week been promoting her new memoir, The Politics of Being Me, including at an event at the Robina library on Thursday night where she took questions from the audience.
