Prosecutors are awaiting several large device downloads from police in relation to the alleged murder of a woman whose body was found in the Brisbane River last year.
Jesse Beale, 49, is charged over the death of his former partner, Crystal Beale, and misconduct with her corpse.
He has not entered a plea, but his lawyers have indicated the charges will be contested at trial.
Ms Beale was last seen alive in West End in February 2025.

The following day, the 49-year-old’s body was found in the Brisbane River at Yeronga by a member of the public.
She allegedly suffered significant neck injuries, but her cause of death was ruled inconclusive.
Prosecutors will allege Mr Beale killed Ms Beale, following an argument which likely took place in his car in West End, then dumped her body in the water.
It is alleged the pair had been arguing about allegations Mr Beale had sexually assaulted her and taken non-consensual images of her which she had recently discovered.

In a brief mention of the case on Friday, the Brisbane Magistrates court heard DNA testing had been completed, and the results had been disclosed to Mr Beale’s lawyers.
The court heard several large device downloads had also been provided to the prosecution by police, but they were corrupted.
In order to open the files, the court heard they would need to be provided in a different format.
The case was adjourned to later this month.
