A Mother’s Day paint-and-sip experience this weekend in the heart of Joondalup will transform Central Park into a curated outdoor art studio.
Presented by the City of Joondalup in collaboration with Uptown Joondalup and Joondalup Activations, the event will be held on Saturday, May 9, from 11am to 4pm.
The ticketed event will offer guests a guided painting session led by professional artists in a relaxed outdoor setting, blending live jazz music and creativity to create a shared experience for mothers, families and friends.
Joondalup mayor Daniel Kingston believes the event reflects the city’s commitment to delivering unique experiences that bring people together.
“Paint, Sip & Celebrate Mum is not just an art class, it’s a special experience designed to help people connect, unwind and celebrate the important women in their lives,” Mr Kingston said.
“Central Park provides the perfect backdrop, and we’re proud to showcase Joondalup as a vibrant lifestyle destination where creativity and community come together.
“Events like this bring real energy into our city, encouraging people to stay longer, explore local businesses and enjoy everything Joondalup has to offer.”
Only 150 tickets are available for the 18+ event, which is also part of the city’s efforts to increase visitation in the Joondalup city centre.
All materials required will be provided, including a canvas, paints, brushes, aprons and seating. Food and beverages will be available to buy.
