Following memorable editions in Sydney and Canberra, including at the French Embassy, the French-Australian Excellence Awards are heading to Melbourne for the very first time. The ceremony will take place in the vibrant neighbourhood of St Kilda on Thursday 5 November 2026.
Organised by Le Courrier Australien since 2021, the Awards celebrate French and Australian individuals and organisations whose remarkable talent, entrepreneurial spirit, innovation and dedication have significantly enriched the French-Australian community. Now in their sixth edition, the Awards have become one of the most anticipated events on the Francophone calendar in Australia, bringing together more than 160 guests each year and attracting thousands of online votes.
The 2026 Awards are held under the patronage of the Ambassade de France en Australie, with the support of Team France. Award categories, nomination details and the full programme for the evening will be announced shortly. In the meantime, we can already confirm that surprises are in store for what promises to be a very special Melbourne edition.
Save the date: Thursday 5 November 2026, St Kilda, Melbourne.
