One Nation leader Pauline Hanson has been spotted enjoying the sun with her billionaire benefactor, Gina Rinehart.

Ms Hanson, who has been spending time away from Australia as she rubs shoulders with the likes of far-right activist Tommy Robinson in the UK, was spotted by fellow Aussies at a luxury resort in Sicily.

Pictures of the pair quickly made their way to Instagram showing Ms Hanson enjoying time by the pool at the Grand Hotel San Pietro in the resort town of Taormina.

The venue rose to fame after being used during the second season of HBO’s smash hit drama, The White Lotus.

Another photo showed the pair together, while a third pictured Ms Rinehart swimming in the pool to cool off.

According to reports, Ms Rinehart was in the area for a Dolce & Gabbana fashion show on Monday, and has since stayed to enjoy the sights and the sounds of the surrounding area.

According to Harper’s Bazaar, guests other than the billionaire included the likes of Hollywood stars Jennifer Lopez and Christian Bale.

The famously outspoken Ms Hanson has yet to allude to her meeting with Rinehart on social media.

News.com.au has approached both Ms Hanson and Ms Rinehart for comment.

Pictures of the pair together come during a crucial time for One Nation

Ms Hanson is facing an uphill battle, after recent polls indicated a sharp decline for the One Nation leader.

The latest polling has recrowned the Labor Party as the most popular party in the country following Hanson’s push for “monoculture”.

Sky News Pulse revealed One Nation has dropped four points to 26 per cent, while Labor returned to the top of the primary vote on 28 per cent.

Despite One Nation’s slide, the party maintains a comfortable lead over the Coalition on 20 per cent (up three points).

The Greens received 12 per cent of the vote while the new teal party, Community Strong Australia, recorded just 2 per cent of the vote in its first appearance in the poll.

One political expert believes Ms Hanson’s support has “hit a ceiling” as the embattled politician struggles to infiltrate the 30 per cent mark.

Last week, Ms Hanson was seen roaming the streets of the UK with Tommy Robinson.

A video, posted on X, showed the pair walking through the English town of Luton while Robinson points to what he calls the “Islamification” of Luton and argues Australia risks following the same path.

Robinson, says he invited Senator Hanson to see the changes in the town for herself, claiming she is concerned about issues he believes could emerge in Australia.

During the walk, the pair attempt to speak with residents about immigration and demographic change. Some stop to take selfies with Robinson, while others confront him, repeatedly calling him a racist and telling him to leave.
