The Raiders look to keep their finals hopes alive, hosting the South Sydney Rabbitohs at Canberra stadium.
Raiders star Hudson Young was carried from the field after going down with a non-contact, left lower leg injury, confirmed by the Raiders as being a suspected Achilles rupture. That came after Melbourne revealed that winger Will Warbrick ruptured his Achilles tendon on Friday night and will undergo surgery early next week, ending his season and his Storm career.
Later, the second-placed Warriors welcome the Dragons to Auckland.
The day’s festivities end with the Bulldogs taking on the embattled Wests Tigers at the Sydney Olympic park.
In the NRLW, the Raiders host the Roosters, the Warriors host the Cowboys and the Bulldogs take on the Sharks.

66′ RABBITOHS SCORE, REFEREE MISSES KNOCK ON!
Brandon Smith races into the backfield.
Cody Walker is there in support and is pulled back is he?
The ball goes forward.
The Rabbitohs play on and Aitkin grabs the ball.
They recycle and it is Walker who dives over.
But hang on – there was a knock on there wasn’t there?
OH! It’s a clear knock on by Cody Walker! And the referee or Bunker can’t go back to look at it because it was the phase before the try was scored!
Oh that’s a huge error from the refereeing team and the Raiders fans are livid.
The kick is good and it’s 24-34.

63′ Raiders force Jack Wighton over the sideline
Jed Stuart is having a game!
Jack Wighton has the ball under his arm, he races towards the defensive line, but Stuart wraps him up and forces him over the sideline.
Momentum is swinging in favour of the Raiders at the moment.

Hudson Young has a suspected Achilles rupture
Fox Sports have just reported that Hudson Young has potentially ruptured his Achilles.
A horror blow for the Raiders, Blues and Kangaroos World Cup hopeful second rower.

58′ INTERCEPT RAIDERS!
The Rabbitohs have all the momentum.
The ball is in their hands, pressuring the line of the Raiders.
They move the ball to the right side but it hits the turf and Jed Stuart picks it up and races 85 metres up field to score.
Nobody was chasing him.
It’s a brilliant pick up too, one-handed using his hip to support the ball as he raced towards the line.
Ricky Stuart is overjoyed.
What a momentum-stealing score that was for the Raiders.
The Raiders have been under enormous pressure for the last 10 minutes or so, have just lost Hudson Young, and then they score.
The kick is good and it’s 34-18.

55′ Hudson Young is carried off
What has happened here?
Oh no.
He was all on his own, he’s pushed off trying to lead the defensive line, pushing off his left foot and something has gone ping.
Oh dear.
He lets out an exclamation of frustration that’s NSFW as he gets to the sideline, supported on either side by Raiders staff members.

53′ Penalty Raiders, PM booed
Jed Stuart makes an absolutely spectacular, brave catch racing back into his own 20.
Campbell Graham was racing back with him and felled the Raiders man.
The Prime Minister has seen enough, it seems, he’s off and is booed as he leaves. A famous Rabbitohs fan, in his Rabbitohs gear, so perhaps no surprise that he’s heckled.

50′ TRY RABBITOHS!
Off the back of the penalty, Cam Murray just bulldozes through the line, Hudson Young missing the tackle.
It’s a great start to the second half for the Rabbitohs!
Ashton Ward delivered the final pass to Murray, and he adds two extra points and it’s suddenly 28-18 all of a sudden.

50′ Penalty Rabbitohs
David Fifita charges into the defensive line of the Raiders like a bull, and is infringed.
A high shot.

47′ Alex Johnston scores!
He loves scoring against the Raiders!
Alex Johnston scores his eighth try in his last seven games against the Raiders.
The Rabbitohs enjoyed plenty of possession, earning a good repeat set, and Cody Walker delivered the pass wide to Alex Johnston who slides over in the corner.
The Bunker did have a look at some interference from Euan Aitken, but if you look that far back you may as well be trying to find a reason to disallow a goal against Argentina.
The try is confirmed, the kick is good, and the Rabbitohs remind the Raiders that the game still has to be won – it’s 28-12.

43′ The Raiders were pinned back there
It was a great defensive set from the Rabbitohs that pinned the Raiders deep inside their own 20 by some ferocious tackling.
But then Ethan Sanders launched a monster of a torp kick that has Campbell Graham retreating.
A poor set turned into a good outcome thanks to the boot of Saunders.

41′ We’re back underway in Canberra
The Rabbitohs have first use of the ball after the Canberra kick off and you get the sense they need to do something neat with the ball here just to remind Canberra there are two teams in this contest.

HT: Raiders running roughshod over Rabbitohs in Canberra sunshine
(Getty Images)
Half time in the capital and the Raiders are in complete control of things in Canberra.
Five tries to one in the first 40, Owen Pattie, Hudson Young, Kaeo Weekes (twice) and Noah Martin have given the Raiders a 28-6 lead.
They have completed 18 of 20 sets, looking very solid and dangerous every time they have a sniff of an attacking move.
Ashton Ward scored for the Rabbitohs with what was South Sydney’s first and only real attacking threat after quarter of an hour.
But it’s been all the Green Machine in Canberra so far.

33′ Rabbitohs lose the ball over the line!
Alex Johnston doesn’t make many mistakes when he can see the try line – but he can’t hold onto the ball when he gets it on the left side here.
The Bunker has a look, which provokes the ire of the locals again, still burned from that previous try not being awarded.
But this time the decision goes in their favour.

33′ Penalty Rabbitohs
Campbell Graham is away!
Great line break down the right side from the Rabbitohs winger, who has struggled to catch anything so far today.
He appears to be hard to catch as well, and Ethan Strange is pinged for trying to tackle him from behind around the throat.

32′ Savage is over, but it’s ruled out by the Bunker!
How has he managed to get this down!
It’s a long ball over the top to Savage by Ethan Sanders.
Savage outmuscles Alex Johnston, stays in the field of play, has Tallis Duncan and Cody Walker wrestling him.
Incredibly, Savage manages to wrest himself over the line.
What a try.
Oh my, hang on.
The ball was bobbled in there by Savage as he looked to ground it, did it touch the hand of Cody Walker?
The Bunker says it did!
Oh that is such a shame – and a tough call I think.
The Canberra locals deliver a chant about bovine excrement, which somewhat tells the story about what they think about the decision.

30′ Knock on Rabbitohs!
You feel for Campbell Graham
there.
The kick was a floater, a genuine knuckle ball that floated and bobbed and weaved and dipped and dropped like a bullet through the hands of the Rabbitohs winger, who must have felt like he was waiting under it for an age.
More great field position for the Raiders.

28′ THE RAIDERS ARE ROLLING!
(Getty Images)
Another one! Kaeo Weekes scores now!
It’s all from the 40:20, Canberra quick to set up in an attacking sense.
Weekes takes a step to take out Tallis Duncan, who raced out of the line, and just scooted over from close range, weaving his way past two covering defenders.
It has been devastating from the Raiders.
Sanders kicks the extras to make it four from five to start for him.

27′ ETHAN SANDERS WITH THE 40:20!
That is a magnificent kick.
He kicks from just inside his 40 and the ball rolls all the way to a metre out from the Rabbitohs try line.
A superb kick from Sanders.
