Solander Dining and Bar will be the first and only Sydney venue to host international dining sensation 7 Paintings – The Art of Dining.

The immersive dinner show combines art, technology, and food and will be available at the restaurant within West Hotel Sydney from July 31.

With locations all over the world, 7 Paintings is a two hour dining experience where guests are guided through a menu where each course is dedicated to an artist such as Picasso, Michelangelo, and Banksy.

Colours, shapes, and flavours blend into a journey through seven masterpieces that are staged live at the table. From here, diners are encouraged to discover their creative side as they may be asked to paint or solve riddles.

Menu highlights at Solander include beef carpaccio with a herb-lime crust, truffle mayonnaise, olive soil, mustard cress, and toasted olive bread; Australian barramundi with charred broccolini, potato fondant, and a white wine beurre blanc; grilled beef tenderloin with Paris potato puree, glazed snow peas, and red wine jus; and a burnt wattle seed crema with crisp sweet potato, berries, brownie crumbs, and salted caramel ice cream.

Nathan Kengike, hotel manager at West Hotel Sydney, Curio Collection by Hilton, says they are thrilled to bring 7 Paintings to West Hotel this winter.

“The experience is unlike anything Sydney has seen before – a true fusion of art, food and storytelling that will transform the way our guests think about dining,” says Kengike.

The 7 Paintings experience will be available on select days and times from July 31. The experience is priced at $179 per person, with an optional beverage pairing at $60 per person.
