The Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) has announced that a major retail and dining upgrade is progressing at Brisbane Airport’s International Terminal as part of the broader Future BNE transformation program. The works form part of the wider multi-billion-dollar investment across the airport precinct, designed to modernise passenger processing and significantly enhance the pre-flight experience ahead of future growth and the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The retail overhaul will introduce 13 new and refurbished food and beverage outlets across multiple levels of the International Terminal, creating a more modern, Queensland-inspired dining and retail environment for international travelers

The BAC has scheduled a range of upcoming developments as part of the $5 Billion investment for both BNE Airports, slated as Future BNE, the project of works comprises over 150 initiatives, ranging from a $90 Million Car Park Extension at the Brisbane Domestic Airport, enhancements to the Domestic and International Terminal upgrades to the initial phase of Terminal 3’s construction, security upgrades along with further commercial, industrial, and retail expansions. Additionally, the car park expansion will offer a vital increase of 1,700 extra parking spots for ParkLong patrons, tackling the rising capacity issues, particularly evident during peak vacation periods.
Airport Masterplan
The Australian Government approved Brisbane Airport’s 2020 Master Plan on 10 March 2020, which outlines information on all aspects of airport operations for the next two decades, including investment and initiatives that may be required.
The Brisbane Airport 2020 Master Plan contained planning for growth and facilitating Brisbane Airport’s future. The report covers increases in passenger numbers, economic projections, employment and Brisbane City construction projects.
