Adelaide United is pleased to announce Ethan Alagich as the winner of the 2025/26 Red Army A-League Men’s Player of the Year.

The awarded player is voted by both the general public and Red Army members in an end-of-season vote, recognising the player they have identified as contributing most to the team’s success with their on-field performance as well as upholding the Club’s “The People’s Club” ethos.

Previous recipients of the Red Army A-League Men’s Player of the Year award include Craig Goodwin, Nestory Irankunda, Ryan Kitto and Archie Goodwin.

Red Army President, Josh Wilson expressed his adoration for Alagich’s growth across the pitch this season:

“Ethan has become a fan favourite in the Red Army this season. His tenacity, work rate and ability to boss games has us singing his name.

“Ethan has grown beyond being Richie’s son and into the best midfielder in the league.”
