Adelaide United is pleased to announce Luka Jovanović as the winner of the 2025/26 UCAN A-League Men Golden Boot, with 11 goals in Red.
Jovanović’s tally also secured him the honour of joint Golden Boot winner across the Isuzu UTE A-League; the second youngest player to ever do so in League history after Archie Goodwin became the youngest when he took the honour in Red last year.
The Golden Boot is awarded to the player who has scored the most goals in the regular season. Previous recipients include Bruce Djite, Sergio van Dijk, Cristiano, Ryan Kitto, Riley McGree, Craig Goodwin, Hiroshi Ibusuki, and Archie Goodwin.
Head Coach, Airton Andrioli praised Luka Jovanović’s remarkable goalscoring season and league-wide impact:
“Luka has been exceptional for us this season. What he’s achieved, not just within our squad but across the entire league, is a credit to his quality, consistency, and mindset. He has a natural instinct in front of goal, but it’s his work rate and determination to keep improving that really stand out.
“To win both our Golden Boot and the League’s Golden Boot is a remarkable accomplishment, and one he thoroughly deserves. He’s a very exciting talent with an even bigger future ahead of him.”
