Adelaide United is pleased to announce Ella Tonkin as the winner of the 2025/26 A-League Women Players’ Player Award for the second consecutive year.
The A-League Women Players’ Player award is chosen by the squad in a 3-2-1 voting system at the end of the regular season and goes to the person that maintains high standards both on and off the pitch. The winner is someone who teammates look up to and aspire to be like.
Captain Isabel Hodgson commended Tonkin’s outstanding contribution to the team, praising her consistency and leadership.
“Ella is highly deserving of this recognition. Her commitment, work ethic, and leadership both on and off the field have been outstanding, and she represents Adelaide with great pride.”
