Brisbane Heat have reinforced their commercial partnership strategy by agreeing a two-year extension with Plantation Homes, ensuring the Queensland home builder remains a key partner of the Big Bash League franchise as both organisations continue to invest in fan engagement and community development.

The renewal builds on a relationship that began ahead of the 2024-25 season and reflects the success of a partnership that has combined high-profile brand visibility with grassroots cricket initiatives across Queensland.

As part of the extended agreement, Plantation Homes will continue to receive prominent exposure across the Heat’s commercial inventory, including branding on club apparel, match-day LED signage and the Plantation Homes Luxe Lounge hospitality space at the Gabba. The partnership also includes a series of supporter activations designed to enhance the match-day experience throughout the BBL season.

Beyond its marketing assets, the collaboration will maintain a significant community focus. Plantation Homes will remain the presenting partner of the Heat’s Backyard to Big Bash school holiday cricket clinics, helping introduce more young participants to the sport while supporting Queensland Cricket Foundation programmes that promote participation and strengthen grassroots cricket throughout the state.

The agreement also sees Brisbane Heat continue to support Plantation Homes’ House for Life campaign, an initiative that funds the construction and auction of a family home to raise money for Mater Little Miracles, which provides vital care for premature and critically ill babies and support for their families.

The extension underlines an increasing trend across Australian sport, where sponsorships are evolving beyond traditional branding agreements to incorporate community programmes, social impact initiatives and year-round fan engagement.

Brisbane Heat General Manager – Commercial, Marketing & Corporate Affairs, Pete Lock, said, “We’re delighted to extend our partnership with Plantation Homes for a further two years. Over the past two seasons, Plantation Homes has been a fantastic supporter of the Brisbane Heat, sharing our commitment to bringing families together and creating opportunities for people to connect through cricket.

“Their support extends well beyond match day. From engaging with our members and fans at the Gabba to helping deliver community programs such as Backyard to Big Bash, Plantation Homes has become a valued partner of the club. We’re excited to continue building on what has already been a very successful partnership and look forward to creating even more opportunities for our fans and the wider Queensland community in the years ahead.”

Plantation Homes General Manager – Marketing, Tindi Sorbera, added,  “The Brisbane Heat partnership is built on shared values – bringing families together, supporting local communities and creating meaningful connections across Queensland. We’re delighted to extend our partnership for a further two years and continue building on what has been a successful relationship.

“We’re also thrilled to have the Heat supporting our House for Life campaign, helping shine a spotlight on Mater Little Miracles and the incredible work the charity does for premature and critically ill babies and their families.”

For Brisbane Heat, the renewal adds further stability to their commercial portfolio ahead of the upcoming BBL campaign, while for Plantation Homes it reinforces a long-term investment in one of Queensland’s most recognisable sporting brands, leveraging cricket’s reach to strengthen customer engagement, community impact and brand affinity across the state.
