A manhunt is underway for a trio seen fleeing the scene of a horror stabbing in Brisbane’s southwest, as a 42-year-old man fights for life.

Queensland Police said emergency services were called to Arrabri Ave in the suburb of Jindalee about 3.45pm on Thursday, following reports of a “large disturbance” involving a group of people.

The man sustained “multiple serious injuries” and was taken to hospital in critical condition.

In an updated statement, Queensland Police said three people reportedly fled the scene in a white Audi sedan.

“Investigations into the circumstances of the incident and into locating the outstanding vehicle and people are ongoing,” a spokesperson said.

“Officers are appealing to anyone with any relevant information or CCTV/dashcam footage to come forward.

“Officers believe that the involved people were known to each other, and there is no ongoing threat to the public.”

Footage from 9News captures a blood mark on a remaining white vehicle at the scene as police and forensics comb the property.

Police declared a crime scene and have been assisted by locals, remaining on scene until after 6pm.

“A crime scene was declared, and multiple people involved in the disturbance are currently assisting police with their inquiries.”
