The RIU Sydney Resources Round-Up is closing today, with the last lot of 29 presentations set to grace the stage from 8.30am until 4pm AEST at the Hyatt Regency Sydney.

Today’s presentation lineup includes Ark Mines (ASX:AHK), Alligator Energy (ASX:AGE), Sunshine Metals (ASX:SHN), and Critica (ASX:CRI).

In particular, Critica will address how its Jupiter Project in Western Australia differs from other assets in terms of project execution and metallurgy, as reported by Mining.com.au.

The three-day event, held 5–7 May 2026, was expected to attract between 1,500 and 1,700 delegates, with an estimated 70% investor attendance rate and 100-odd ASX-listed exhibitors.

“It’s a large contingent of Australian and international investment groups and a very diversified investment community that attends RIU Sydney. That’s what makes it so beneficial,” RIU Conferences General Manager Jaxon Crabb tells Mining.com.au ahead of the event.

“The number one benefit at RIU Sydney is that it’s the hotel that we use, the Hyatt Regency Darling Harbour.”

A diverse range of investment groups hit up the conference this week, ranging from institutions, funds, private stockbrokers, and private investors.

Key commodities expected to be discussed this year were gold, lithium, rare earths, and, given the ongoing war in the Middle East, oil.

The three-day conference featured ASX-listed explorers, including Black Canyon (ASX:BCA), Impact Minerals (ASX:IPT), Kalamazoo Resources (ASX:KZR), Lincoln Minerals (ASX:LML), and Mammoth Minerals (ASX:M79).

Mining.com.au is a media partner for the RIU Sydney Resources Round-Up conference and will be in attendance at this year’s program.
