Police have seized a cache of weapons, including a high-powered laser and battle axes, during a raid on a western Sydney unit.
Responding to reports that prohibited weapons had been seen inside a Penrith home, NSW Police carried out a search warrant on a Penrith unit on Friday evening.

Officers seized a trove of weapons including rifles and guns, ammunition, two crossbows, nunchucks, a mace, a “high-powered laser device”, knuckle dusters, battle axes, as well as knives, air guns, gel blasters and cash.
Police allege they also found stolen property.

All of the firearms and seized material will undergo forensic testing as part of the police investigation.
A 27-year-old man was charged with a long list of 59 offences, including firearm and weapons charges, as well as drug supply.
A 43-year-old man was charged with possessing suspected stolen goods and possessing housebreaking implements.
Both appeared in a Sydney court on Saturday.
