A man covered in tattoos has faced court after allegedly breaking into an Adelaide home and falling asleep naked in a stranger’s bed.

The 33-year-old faced the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Wednesday charged with trespass after he allegedly made his way through the flyscreen of the property.

One of the homeowners, according to 7NEWS, had just returned home from the gym when he noticed the broken kitchen flyscreen.

He then entered one of the bedrooms where he located the alleged intruder, covered in tattoos, fast asleep.

“He had taken one pillow from my bed and then after, he’s come here and slept naked over here,” they told 7NEWS.

“My brother said ‘this is not your house, please leave this house’. But he wouldn’t come outside, he was just saying ‘sorry, sorry, sorry’.

“(He was) covered with tattoos – two tattoos (over his face) and full body was covered in tattoos.”

The two homeowners, a pair of brothers, told the man to leave the bed – but were forced to call police after he refused.

The brothers found blood stains over the mattress, which has since been removed from the property.

During his first court appearance on Wednesday, the man indicated he would be making an application for home detention bail, but was remanded in custody to return next week.
