A stolen delivery truck has been found abandoned but police are yet to track down about $50,000 worth of cargo it was transporting.

The white Isuzu was snatched from outside a home on Barbette Rd in Willetton, Perth, about 8.30am on Tuesday, as the driver made a delivery.

WA Police shared vision of a fridge flying from the back of the truck and onto a suburban street just moments after it was taken.

In their rush, the thief left a tail lift down, causing it to drag along the road.

The dumped truck was recovered by Cannington Detectives more than 20km away on Brand Rd in High Wycombe about 10pm on Wednesday.

But $50,000 worth of white goods and electronics deliveries have not been found.

Detectives want to speak to a man with a large build who was wearing a white shirt and dark jacket.
