If your couch rot sessions involve binge-watching The Real Housewives, Below Deck and Southern Charm, then Hayu FanFest is going to be your dream day out.
Australia’s first Hayu FanFest lands at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Saturday, August 15.
Reality TV royalty will be heading to Sydney for a day of meet-and-greets, photo opportunities, exclusive merch and performances.
Organisers have also just unveiled the line-up of Australian media favourites, comedians and pop culture experts who’ll be joining them on stage and reporting from the crowds.
Housewives, Below Deck and Southern Charm all under one roof
Fans will have the chance to see The Real Housewives legends Cynthia Bailey, Dorinda Medley, Meredith Marks, Alexia Nepola and Juliet Mayhew all in one place, alongside Below Deck Down Under favourite Captain Jason Chambers and Southern Charm stars Craig Conover and Shep Rose.
If meeting your favourite reality icons isn’t enough, there’ll also be photo opportunities, exclusive merchandise and immersive fan activations throughout the venue.
And because one career simply isn’t enough for a Housewife, both Dorinda Medley and Meredith Marks will step behind the decks for DJ sets throughout the day.
Dean McCarthy leads the fun
Australian entertainment reporter and Hayu ambassador Dean McCarthy has been confirmed as the official MC, guiding fans through an afternoon packed with interviews, panels and plenty of reality TV mayhem.
Joining him are podcaster Sharyn Casey, comedian Tim Collins, broadcaster Gen Fricker and entertainment reporter Justin Hill, who’ll also be roaming the venue chatting to fans and catching all the behind-the-scenes drama.
TikTok is bringing the drama to everyone
Even if you can’t make it to Sydney, Hayu is making sure the FOMO doesn’t hit too hard.
The streaming platform has teamed up with TikTok to bring fans around the world into the action through live streams, exclusive creator content and a dedicated #HayuFanFest hub.
The Pink Carpet arrivals will be streamed live, while Justin Hill and Tim Collins join the reality stars for a special panel that will later stream globally on Hayu.
With Housewives, yacht captains, Southern Charm heartthrobs and a room full of reality TV fans, Hayu FanFest is going to be one gloriously drama-loving event.
