Trainers Tony and Calvin McEvoy, who saddle electric filly Natural Fling in the Group 3 Quezette Stakes on Saturday at Caulfield, intend to trial Cups winner Half Yours again before the Group 1 Makybe Diva Stakes (1600m) at Flemington on September 12.
Half Yours is set for a four-start Flemington-focused campaign, including the Group 1 Cox Plate on October 24, en route to the Melbourne Cup.

Meanwhile, Natural Fling is the $3 favourite to win the Quezette on Saturday after an impressive trial performance of her own a fortnight ago at Flemington.
“She’s a really good filly, a really good filly and has trialled up superbly,” Calvin McEvoy said.
“It is a very good race (Quezette), which is exciting and it’s what you expect at this point of the year, coming into the spring.
“We’re hoping she’s a Coolmore filly and she needs to be winning or running very well on Saturday to be that.”
