Brisbane Roar FC can today confirm several changes to its A-League Men’s squad as the club commences significant recruitment ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The changes mark the first phase of a broader squad redesign being led by incoming Sporting Director James Gow, who will oversee a refreshed football strategy and recruitment direction by the club.
The following players will depart at the conclusion of their contracts:
Ben Warland, Austin Ludwik, Antonee Burke-Gilroy, Michael Ruhs, Ben Halloran, Chris Long, Quinn MacNicol and Jacob Brazete.
Marius Lode, Youstin Salas and Nick D’Agostino will also return to their parent clubs having completed their loan spells with the Roar.
Sam Klein has departed the club following his move to German Bundesliga side FC St. Pauli, while Georgios Vrakas departs by way of mutual consent from the remaining year of his contract.
