Australian luxury jeweller Paspaley has unveiled a new boutique at Crown Melbourne, relocating its longstanding presence within the complex to a newly designed 60-square-metre retail space.

Opening on 6 August 2026, the ground-floor boutique has been designed by Paris-based architecture and design studio CARBONDALE, led by architect Eric Carlson.

The opening continues the evolution of Paspaley’s retail network and follows the contemporary architectural direction developed with CARBONDALE across its newer boutiques in Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney’s Castlereagh Street and Melbourne’s Collins Street.

Inspired by Australian South Sea pearls, the Crown Melbourne boutique combines sculptural architecture with natural materials and pearlescent finishes. A White Moon marble façade featuring a carved strand-inspired motif leads into an interior incorporating Pure White Onyx, mother-of-pearl detailing and Azul Cielo marble flooring.

A key feature is the Strands Cove, a dedicated area showcasing Paspaley’s signature pearl strands and high jewellery creations beneath a handcrafted chandelier inspired by the Pinctada maxima oyster shell.

The design draws on Paspaley’s heritage as Australian master pearlers, with the boutique intended to reflect the natural landscapes and geological origins connected to the company’s pearl story.

The new Paspaley boutique is located at Shop 5, Ground Level, Crown Melbourne Entertainment Complex, 8 Whiteman Street, Southbank.
