In what can be described as a testy week for AFL fans, some positive news has emerged — another Crow baby has joined the flock.

Alex Neal-Bullen and his wife Georgie have taken to Instagram to announce the birth of their second daughter Maya Neal-Bullen on Friday night.

The joint carousel post features a black and white video of Neal-Bullen with his eldest daughter Zara as baby Maya lies on her sister’s lap.

Zara is seen planting a sweet kiss on the infant’s head as their loving dad watches on.

The post also features several portraits, including some of the relaxed parents, posing with all smiles at the camera.

The baby news has been met with a flood of happy comments including from AFLW Crows star Ebony Marinoff who said “Congratulations fam!! Born to be a girl dad,” while wife of Rory Sloane, Bel Sloane said “Congrats. Can’t wait to meet her xxx”.

Tex Walker’s wife Ellie also passed her congratulations, saying “Congratulations fam!!! Gorgeous Maya !! Xxx” while Brodie Smith left a heart emoji under the post.

Neal-Bullen and his wife welcomed their first child Zara in 2024, with the footy star also announcing the birth on social media, saying “Her mum is incredible and I am so proud to be a girl dad”.

In May this year, Ruckman Reilly O’Brien and wife Chloe also announced that they were expecting their first child in a post showing the smitten couple on a beach in Noosa Heads, Queensland.
