A fresh allegation has emerged from one of the women at the centre of the sexual assault investigation which has rocked the Sydney Swans.

A new claim involving “multiple sexual assaults” has been made in relation to one woman, who is represented by Jackson Pannam of Slater and Gordon, The Age reports. 

Two other women, represented by Carbone Lawyers, have also alleged to police that they were subjected to conduct of a sexual nature beyond what was agreed to, according to the publication. 

In a statement issued on the weekend, Mr Pannam said his client’s entire world had been “turned upside down” in the wake of the events and he had been engaged to explore a potential civil claim.

Similarly, Carbone Lawyers said it was investigating civil proceedings against the club, and possibly the players alleged to be involved, on behalf of its clients.

The five players at the centre of the controversy are Isaac Heeney, Nick Blakey, Chad Warner, Riley Bice and James Jordon.

The Swans have ruled them out for the rest of the season after determining their behaviour following the club’s round-23 win over Essendon had breached its standards.

Victoria Police are continuing to investigate an alleged sexual assault at the Pullman East Melbourne hotel in the early hours of August 17.

It has been alleged that the players hired adult entertainers to the hotel room. 

It is understood that an audio recording relating to the alleged events at the hotel has been handed to detectives, according to The Age.

News24.com.au is not suggesting any of the players have committed a criminal offence.

Police have previously said no one has been arrested or formally interviewed in relation to the alleged sexual assault. 

The Swans have apologised to the wider football community over the incident.

Chairman Andrew Pridham and chief executive Matthew Pavlich said the club understood the distress caused to supporters, staff, partners, families and the women involved. 

“All women deserve to feel safe and respected,” the club previously said. 

On Sunday, many Swans fans walked out of the SCG before the men’s final home game of the regular season as the embattled club continues to deal with the fallout.

Hundreds of supporters left the ground after the Swans’ AFLW side defeated Essendon by 24 points on Sunday.

The walkout came during a historic double-header at the SCG, with Sydney’s women playing before the men faced North Melbourne.
