It’s official. Nominations for the sixth edition of the French-Australian Excellence Awards are open today. For the first time in their history, the Awards are heading to Melbourne and this edition is shaping up to be one to remember.

Who can be nominated?

The French-Australian Excellence Awards recognise French and/or Australian citizens – and organisations – whose talent, entrepreneurial spirit, innovation and dedication have enriched the French-Australian community. From unknown talents to established entrepreneurs and public figures: all nominations are welcome.

How to nominate?

Everyone is welcome to nominate, no exceptions. French, Australian, Francophile: if you know someone who deserves to be recognised, now is the time. Self-nominations are also very much encouraged 😉

Key Dates

· Nominations open: until 21 September 2026

· Voting phase — finalist selection: 26 September to 19 October 2026

· Awards Ceremony: Thursday 5 November 2026, St Kilda Town Hall, Melbourne

The sixth edition of the French-Australian Excellence Awards is organised by Le Courrier Australien under the patronage of the Ambassade de France en Australie and with the support of Team France (FACCI, Business France, La French Tech Australia and their partners).
