Luke Brooks and Joey Walsh have combined to lead Manly to victory in captain Jake Trbojevic’s 250th game for the club.
The Sea Eagles were exceptional in a resounding 32-4 win over Brisbane at a sold-out 4 Pines Park.
Brooks had one of his best games in a Manly jumper while Walsh scored in just the third minute to set the stage for an impressive performance.
The win was soured slightly by a serious leg injury to experienced forward Siosiua Taukeiaho. The veteran fell awkwardly while scoring a try and was taken from the field with a suspected leg fracture.
Earlier, the Knights showed all their skills at WIN Stadium, keeping the Dragons winless with a 44-10 victory, including a five-try haul from Greg Marzhew.

NRL Press Conference: Sea Eagles v Broncos – Round 10, 2026
Full-time: Reuben Garrick has put an exclamation mark on a dominant Manly victory, the centre burrowing over from dummy half. Tolu Koula made the break down the left edge, Jason Saab was tackled on the right flank and Garrick scored the try. Five-eighth Luke Brooks had one of his best games in a Sea Eagles jumper, while halfback Joey Walsh had another exceptional performance in a 28-point win over the defending premiers. Sea Eagles 32 – Broncos 4.
79th minute: We have a late stoppage after a head clash between Jack Gosiewski and Jake Trbojevic, with Goisiewski coming off second best. The Bronco is back on his feet but has left the field for an HIA. Sea Eagles 26 – Broncos 4.
78th minute: Ethan Bullemor has broken through on his way to the try line. It all looked a little too easy and the play has been pulled up for obstruction. Bullemor ran behind a teammate making it a simple ruling for the referee. Sea Eagles 26 – Broncos 4.
72nd minute: Brisbane have finally generated some attacking plays in the second half and they’re starting to build some pressure after Reece Walsh forced a line dropout. The opportunity goes begging, however, Josiah Karapani dropping the short dropout. Sea Eagles 26 – Broncos 4.
66th minute: Manly continue to reside in the attacking 20-metre zone but the Broncos defence has continued to turn up despite the scoreline. The Sea Eagles had a couple of sets back-to-back on the attack, however they were unable to find a way through and Brisbane regain possession. Sea Eagles 26 – Broncos 4.

59th minute: Tolu Koula in the corner and Manly have extended their lead. Brisbane were on the attack but Reece Walsh dropped the ball in a Koula tackle. Brandon Wakeham produced a chip over the top, Clayton Faulalo regathered and Koula raced away to score an entertaining try. We also have an update on Siosiua Taukeiaho, who has been taken to hospital with a suspected leg fracture. Sea Eagles 26 – Broncos 4.

Karapani pulls Olakau’atu down short
52nd minute: The Broncos are under siege as Manly turn the dial up a notch. The Sea Eagles are full of running and Haumole Olakau’atu came agonisingly close to scoring before being dragged down on the last. The hosts then ramped it up in defence, pinning Brisbane inside their own half and forcing an error to generate another attacking chance. Sea Eagles 22 – Broncos 4.

Siosiua Taukeiaho Try
46th minute: The Sea Eagles have capitalised, Siosiua Taukeiaho somehow managing to hold on to a tough pass before sliding over the try line as two Broncos dragged him to the ground. The forward fell awkwardly and has not moved since scoring the try, with medical officials treating him on the field. A stretcher has been carried out, along with pain relief for Taukeiaho. The forward has now been carried from the field, with early reports suggesting he will go straight to hospital with a serious lower leg injury. Sea Eagles 22 – Broncos 4.
45th minute: Jesse Arthars has saved a try but Manly will have a fresh set on the attack. Lehi Hopoate was unmarked on the wing but Arthars managed to get his hand out to knock the pass down. Sea Eagles have a scrum as they look to extend their lead. Sea Eagles 16 – Broncos 4.
Kick-off: We are back for the second half as the Broncos look to mount another comeback. Brisbane fell agonisingly short of overturning a 30-point deficit last week and they are only 12 points behind tonight. Manly have plenty of points in them and will look to kick clear after largely dominating the first half. Sea Eagles 16 – Broncos 4.
Half-time: Manly keep going up by two after Ben Talty was penalised for a dangerous tackle. With the less than a minute on the clock, Reuben Garrick immediately pointed to the sticks for a penalty goal attempt 39 metres out, slightly to the left of the posts. Garrick had no issues and the lead is 12 at the break. Sea Eagles 16 – Broncos 4.

29th minute: The Sea Eagles have one more attacking chance after Brisbane made another error deep inside their own half. Manly have dominated territory so far and they’re looking to convert that into more points. Sea Eagles 12 – Broncos 4.
24th minute: Manly have lodged a Captain’s Challenge after Jake Trbojevic was ruled to have dropped the ball in the play the ball. Replays show there was ruck interference, it’s a successful challenge and the Sea Eagles receive a penalty. Sea Eagles 12 – Broncos 4.

Koula hits the gas
21st minute: Manly are on song with ball in hand, Tolu Koula creating a break that should have ended in points. Koula’s pass to Ben Trbojevic was a difficult one to catch, the forward hitting the deck. The Sea Eagles then attacked right through Reuben Garrick, with Brisbane scrambling desperately. Manly went back to the left and Lehi Hopoate looked set to score but the last pass was ruled forward. Brisbane receive a penalty in the ensuing set and they are back into attacking territory. Lehi Hopoate Try
19th minute: Saab’s catch has proved pivotal, Manly rolling down the field before Lehi Hopoate scored in the corner. It was an exceptional shortside play, the Sea Eagles looking to go right, before Luke Brooks shifted the attack back to the left, the Broncos were caught short and Hopoate had just enough space to ground the ball before the cover defence arrived. Sea Eagles 12 – Broncos 4.
17th minute: It looks like the Sea Eagles will have to defend their own line, with Brisbane marching down the field on the back of a penalty before forcing a line dropout. The hosts attempted a short dropout, Jason Saab leapt through the air and secured possession for his side. Sea Eagles 6 – Broncos 4.
13th minute: The pressure on Brisbane builds after Josiah Karapani is sent to the sin bin for a professional foul. Jason Saab was chasing a bomb and looked set to win the race to the ball before being grabbed by Karapani. The referee rules it was a try-scoring situation and the Broncos are down to 12 men. Sea Eagles 6 – Broncos 4.
12th minute: Joey Walsh may be 19 years old, but he’s playing well beyond his years. The crafty playmaker has just produced a 40-20 to earn his side an attacking set of six. Sea Eagles 6 – Broncos 4.

Joey Walsh Try
4th minute: It’s a dream start for Manly playmaker Joey Walsh who slices straight through the Brisbane defensive line to score the opening try of the game. The 19-year-old surged straight past Ezra Mam and Pat Carrigan and 4 Pines Park has erupted. Manly had spent a couple of minutes camped inside the attacking 20, earning a set restart and penalty before capitalising with the try. Sea Eagles 6 – Broncos 0.
Kick-off: We are underway at 4 Pines Park with Jake Trbojevic leading the Sea Eagles out for his 250th NRL game. The milestone will act as additional motivation for a Manly side desperate to bounce back from last week’s loss to Penrith. Brisbane have struggled at Brookvale over the years and haven’t won at the venue since 2010 but welcome back veteran halfback Ben Hunt for the match. Sea Eagles 0 – Broncos 0.
Late Mail
Sea Eagles: Manly have been dealt a blow, with halfback Jamal Fogarty set to miss a second-straight game due to a groin injury. Joey Walsh will start at halfback for the second-straight week as a result. “[Jamal] won’t play,” coach Kieran Foran said. “He was pretty close but we felt it was best for Jamal to give him another week. He wasn’t quite 100%, they can be tricky these groin injuries, it’s only Round 10 so we don’t want to further injure him.” Ethan Bullemor is set to start in the front row after Kobe Hetherington was placed in the head knock protocol. Zach Dockar-Clay is the new man on the bench as a result of Fogarty’s withdrawal. No further changes on game day, Josh Feledy dropping out of the squad.
Broncos: One more change in the 90-minute update, Preston Riki coming into the starting side and Ben Talty shifting back to the interchange. Ben Hunt has been cleared to take his place in the side and will make an early return from a knee injury suffered in Round 5. The veteran will start at halfback, with Tom Duffy shifting to the interchange. No further changes in Friday’s 24-hour update, with Josh Rogers and Kane Bradley dropping out of the squad. Hunt’s return is a major boost for the injury-hit Broncos, who have lost Adam Reynolds, Deine Mariner and Kotoni Staggs to injury and suspension from last week’s loss to the Roosters. Jesse Arthars is set to replace Staggs in the centres, while young gun Antonio Verhoeven comes on to the wing. Brisbane have not won at 4 Pines Park since 2010. Josiah Karapani did not train earlier in the week, with medical staff monitoring his progress from an ankle injury but he remains in the side and is on track to take his place on the wing.

Campbell Graham Try
Full-time: The Rabbitohs have put an exclamation mark on an emphatic victory, Campbell Graham scoring in his 150th NRL game to close out the result. Alex Johnston scored a hat-trick, while debutant Latrell Siegwalt was exceptional in both general play and goal kicking, finishing with 12 points. Rabbitohs 36 – Sharks 12.

Brailey has been asked to leave the field for an HIA following the collision. Rabbitohs 30 – Sharks 0.
65th minute: The match has gone back into an arm-wrestle phase and the Rabbitohs are ramping up the defensive intensity. With 15 minutes to play, the Sharks are starting to struggle to make metres from deep inside their own half and need a spark to mount a late comeback. Rabbitohs 24 – Sharks 0.

Gray saves one for Souths
55th minute: We’re heading back to the Bunker but this time it’s for a possible Sharks try. Jesse Colquhoun stepped, straightened and charged to the try line. Jye Gray was in his path, making a phenomenal tackle with the assistance of Tallis Duncan before ripping the ball free. Because it was a strip in the act of scoring and South Sydney grounded the ball in the in-goal area, it will be a goal-line dropout. Rabbitohs 24 – Sharks 0.
52nd minute: We’re off to the Bunker after Cody Walker appeared to drop the ball when taking on the Sharks defensive line. The Rabbitoh ran through and grounded the ball but it was clearly a knock on. The attacking set of six came after South Sydney missed a shot at penalty goal, before regathering the 20m dropout. Meanwhile, Cam Murray has left the field for an HIA. Rabbitohs 24 – Sharks 0.

Alex Johnston 3rd Try
46th minute: South Sydney have picked up where they left off before the break, Alex Johnston crossing for his third try of the night. A Sam Stonestreet error handed the hosts a chance to attack and it didn’t take them long to capitalise. Rookie Latrell Siegwalt played another big hand in the try as the Souths left edge continues to run rampant. Rabbitohs 24 – Sharks 0.
Kick-off: We are underway to start the second half, with the Rabbitohs full of running after an impressive end to the first. They may have copped an early blow, however, after Jye Gray was collected in a heavy tackle by Briton Nikora. The fullback is playing his first game back from a shoulder injury and has received some treatment but will play on. Rabbitohs 18 – Sharks 0.
Half-time: The Sharks were forced into a mountain of defensive work in the first 20 minutes of that half and the Rabbitohs cashed in throughout the final 20 minutes to run in three tries and jump out to an 18-0 lead. Ill discipline and untimely errors hurt the Sharks, with the fatigue starting to show late in the half. Rookie centre Latrell Siegwalt was outstanding for the Rabbitohs, who completed 22 of 24 sets in a brilliant 40-minute performance. Rabbitohs 18 – Sharks 0.

An early statement from the Rabbitohs defence
11th minute: Cronulla had South Sydney on the back foot after Addin Fonua-Blake produce a powerful carry to punch through the line. Rabbitohs 2 – Sharks 0.
6th minute: The Rabbitohs have lodged a Captain’s Challenge after a loose pass brought an end to an attacking play. Sharks centre KL Iro has been ruled to have tackled a player without the ball, handing South Sydney a penalty. Debutant Latrell Siegwalt steps up to take the shot at goal. Meanwhile, Cam McInnes has had his ankle strapped up and will play on. Rabbitohs 2 – Sharks 0.
4th minute: Early concern being shown for Cam McInnes who fell awkwardly in a tackle when two Rabbitohs defenders landed on his leg. The lock is only playing his third game since returning from an ACL injury. Tough as nails, McInnes is back on his feet and looking to play on. Rabbitohs 0 – Sharks 0.
Kick-off: The Sharks have kicked us off at Accor Stadium as they look to build on last week’s dominant win over the Tigers. It’s been a disrupted week for the Rabbitohs, who lost Latrell Mitchell and Jamie Humphreys to injury but coach Wayne Bennett will ensure his men are at their best tonight. Rabbitohs 0 – Sharks 0.
Late mail
Rabbitohs: Superstar centre Latrell Mitchell has been ruled out and is set to replaced by namesake Latrell Siegwalt. Rabbitohs officials confirmed that Mitchell has a back injury and faces up to two weeks on the sideline – casting doubt over his availability for NSW in the opening State of Origin on May 27 at Accor Stadium. He was withdrawn from the South Sydney squad on Thursday, with Siegwalt listed in his place at centre in jersey No.23. If he plays it will be an NRL debut for Seigwalt, who hopes to play for France at the upcoming World Cup and recently met with French coach Laurent Frayssinous. Jamie Humphreys also dropped out of the South Sydney squad with a knee injury. The Rabbitohs were already facing a host of changes for the Rabbitohs as some players return from injury and others are struck down. Jack Wighton was sent for surgery on a broken arm, prompting Campbell Graham to shift to the centres for his 150th NRL game and Ed Kosi coming on to the wing for his Rabbitohs debut. Fullback Jye Gray is confirmed to return from a shoulder injury, while Ashton Ward comes into the halves in place of Humphreys. Up front, Euan Aitken is back in the starting side after coming off the bench in the last two weeks. Keaon Koloamatangi moves to prop, with Tevita Tatola shifting to the bench. Just one additional change in Friday’s 24-hour update, Moala Graham-Taufa coming into the six-man bench and Liam Le Blanc dropping out of the squad. Thomas Fletcher dropped out in the final update 90 minutes from kickoff.
Sharks: No further changes for Cronulla, with Sifa Talakai remaining in the centres. Braden Uele was originally named on the interchange but dropped off the six-man bench in Friday’s 24-hour update. Niwhai Puru dropped off 90 minutes prior to kickoff.

Knights: Round 10
Full-time: The Knights have run away with a 44-10 victory over the winless Dragons at WIN Stadium on the back of a 32-0 first half blitz. Greg Marzhew led the way with FIVE tries and seven line breaks, while Kalyn Ponga was dynamic with two try assists. While the result was far from what the home fans wanted, the Dragons showed plenty of fight in the second half and scored two tries.
77th min: Rinse and repeat. Greg Marzhew has his fifth try of the game on the back of another block play, but it’s Kalyn Ponga in the centres delivering the last pass. Ponga misses the conversion attempt and heads off the field for an early shower. Knights 44-10
73rd min: The Dragons look dangerous in attack, creating second phase play and enjoying some time in the Knights half, but they can’t convert.
66th min: On the back of a high tackle penalty putting them in attacking position, Clint Gutherson resumes fullback responsibilities and puts a neat grubber kick behind Greg Marzhew for Setu Tu to get a try back on his direct opponent. Valentine Holmes converts from the sideline. Knights 40-10

Kickoff: We’re underway in picture perfect conditions in Wollongong.
Late mail
Dragons: Dragons coach Dean Young has rung in more changes to the game day squad in the 90-minute update, with Lyhkan King-Togia to start at five-eighth over Daniel Atkinson, who has been omitted due to a hand injury. Ryan Couchman has reverted to the interchange, with Josh Kerr to start in the second row. Gerringong junior Dylan Egan has been confirmed for his first NRL game since Round 10, 2025, after making a successful comeback from an ACL tear, while Clint Gutherson is also part of the returning brigade from a hamstring injury. Winger Christian Tuipolotu has been cleared to return from a knee injury via the interchange. Moses Suli was ruled out of the match with a back injury in Friday’s 24-hour update, replaced by Tyrell Sloan. Hame Sele also dropped out in Friday’s update.
Knights: Cody Hopwood has been added to the interchange in place of Harrison Graham in the final update for the Knights squad as they chase their first victory at WIN Stadium since 2011. Kalyn Ponga has scored five tries in his last four games against the Dragons and will look to build on last week’s successful return from injury. No changes 24 hours out from kick off, Kyle McCarthy and James Schiller dropping out of the squad.
Rabbitohs v Sharks at Accor Stadium
