A group of five organised criminals has been dismantled by New South Wales Police over their role in allegedly supplying $400,00 worth of drugs across Sydney.
In January, police commenced operation Strike Force Cristobal to investigate the alleged supply of illegal drugs across the city.
As part of the investigations, strike force officers identified an organised drug gang that was allegedly manufacturing and supplying cocaine.
Police estimate the group supplied $400,00 worth of drugs between April and August.
On Tuesday, officers executed five search warrants at addresses in Rosebery, St Peters, Mascot, Five Dock and Homebush.
During the search at the Rosebury home, it is alleged that a hidden lab was located.
It will undergo an extensive forensic investigation.
A 32-year-old man was arrested at a home in Five Dock and was taken to Burwood Police Station.
He was charged with supplying, possessing and dealing prohibited drugs while on breach of bail.
A 28-year-old woman was arrested at a home in Homebush and was taken to Auburn Police Station where she was charged with taking part in supplying prohibited drugs and participating in criminal activity.
A 38-year-old man was arrested at an address at St Peters and taken to Surry Hills Police Station where he was charged with supplying drugs.
Two other men, aged 30 and 40, were arrested at properties in Rosebery and Mascot and charged with taking part in supply prohibited drugs.
All five people were refused bail and are set to appear in court on Wednesday.
The 32, 38 and 28-year-olds were set to appear before Burwood Local Court and the 38, 40 and 30-year-olds at the Bail Division Local Court.
Following further inquiries, just before midnight on Tuesday strike force officers executed a sixth search warrant at an address in Canterbury, where they allegedly found a second hidden lab.
It too will undergo forensic testing.
During each search, police seized cocaine, ketamine, MDMA, cannabis, mobile phones and $28,000 of cash.
