Two men have been remanded in custody after being arrested for drug trafficking, after a large quantity of drugs, including a kilo of meth, cash and drug manufacturing equipment were found at a property in Adelaide’s north-east.
Western District Volume Crime Section detectives searched a home in Manningham on August 24, allegedly locating around 440 grams of methamphetamine, 87 grams of MDMA, 36 grams of ketamine, 750 grams of magic mushrooms and more than $30,000 in cash.
Police also located chemicals and equipment consistent with the manufacture of illicit drugs.
The men, aged 47 and 50 from the address were arrested and charged with multiple drug trafficking offences, while the 50-year-old was also charged with money laundering.
A further search by Serious and Organised Crime Branch investigators located an addition 600 grams of methamphetamine, 157 suboxone films, along with more chemicals and equipment used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine, police will allege.
Both men appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Tuesday and were remanded in custody.
Investigations are continuing.
