Supermarket giant Coles has launched an “urgent investigation” after an X-rated video seemingly filmed in one of its stores appeared online.
The footage, which was published on an online pornography site, appears to show a woman in a Coles uniform stacking shelves in the freezer section before touching herself in an intimate way.
The Advertiser in Adelaide reports the footage appeared on the website XHamsterLive – an explicit website boasting “live sex shows 24.7”.
Screen grabs published by the newspaper suggest the footage was taken in the Coles Paralowie store in Adelaide’s north.
The image shows the woman standing in front of a noticeboard displaying the name of the branch.
She is stacking shelves from a pile of cardboard boxes before turning around to face the camera with one hand inside her shorts.
In a statement issued on Monday, the supermarket confirmed the matter was being “urgently investigated”.
“We are aware of the material and are currently investigating to identify the person involved in the behaviour depicted in this content,” a Coles spokesman said.
“As a business, we expect appropriate and professional behaviour in our workplaces.”
